She matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2000 and took part in a GAP year where she worked at a school in West Sussex, England and travelled extensively for a year. In 2002 Amanda enrolled at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and completed her LLB degree in 2005. Amanda holds an advanced Diploma in Labour Law. Amanda is married to Ryan and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Amanda is the current secretary and treasurer of the East London and Mdantsane Attorneys Association.
