She completed her Nursing Diploma in Cape Town in 1978. After 18 years as Administration Manager with Grindrods she joined Bate Chubb and Dickson Inc. in 2006. Colleen is married to Pierre and they have two sons, Jacques and Henri. She enjoys spending time with her boys at home on the East Coast and her hobbies are gardening and craftwork.
