He matriculated from St. Andrew's College, Grahamstown, in 1996. He enrolled at the University of Port Elizabeth with big dreams of making it in the rugby world. However, a serious injury quickly shattered these. He enrolled at Fort Hare University where he completed his LLB in 2006. In 2006 he attended the full time school for legal practice. He joined Bate Chubb & Dickson Inc. in January 2007 as a Candidate Attorney. He has special interest in Commercial Contracts and Civil Litigation. Yanda remains a sport fanatic and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
